We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate junior Project Engineers to join our fast growing team in this fast paced but highly exciting industry that is Motorsport.
Day to day you will be involved in:

Design and development of products from concept to operation including system definition, specification prototyping and validation as well as drawing creation;

Ensuring products meet specification, function, design, and business performance requirements to recognised industry standards, safety, and legislation;

Design, investigation, and concept engineering work utilising Catia V5;
-
Ensuring designs meet customer specifications including the aesthetic and technical requirements;
-
Design activities of structural components including metal, plastics and composite using Catia V5;
-
Perform fundamental engineering calculations [including stress and stiffness] to substantiate the design of the product using Hyperworks or similar products;
-
Consult with customers discussing their product and scheduling requirements;
-
Quote new opportunities and raise sales orders to create demand in production.
To be successful you will have:
-
Level 3 Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Engineering

Basic CAD skills;

Understanding of drawing and documentation configuration management;
-
Keen to learn and have an interest in Design Engineering
Desirable
-
Proven previous experience of working in a small design engineering team overseeing the design and development of composite parts;
-
Good knowledge and previous experience of working with composite materials and manufacturing processes;
-
Experience of working as part of a cross functional project team to deliver designs into production.
