bf1systems Enjoy Le Mans Success

The 2015 Le Mans 24 hour race saw bf1systems customers enjoy success across every category, with 75% of all the podium finishers running bf1systems products.

The 83rd 24 Hours of Le Mans saw battles throughout the categories for the whole race, ultimately ending with the first outright win for Porsche since 1998, the first win for a current F1 driver thanks to Nico Hulkenberg, and the 32nd win for a British driver in the event courtesy of Nick Tandy.

The event also saw bf1systems products being used by 75% of the podium finishers across the LMP1, LMP2, GTE Pro and GTE Am Categories, making this the most successful Le Mans 24 hour result for the company.

“Our products have enjoyed success at Le Mans before,” says James Shingleton, Business Development Director, “but for 9 of the 12 cars that finished on the podiums to be running our products, this is the best result we have ever had.”

The race saw 60% of the grid starting with bf1systems products fitted to the cars, including Tyre Pressure and Temperature Monitoring Systems, Force Measurement components and Wiring Harnesses.
