The nature of the design of this part also means that its performance is not compromised by end fixing designs. the design can also be adapted to suit a bonded type push rod end or a removable or shim type of push rod end.
BERU f1systems can strain gauge this part using traditional strain gauging and temperature compensation techniques or it can be fitted with our micro processor corrected strain gauge amplifier.
The BERU f1systems microprocessor measures the temperature of the strain gauges, applies a correction at each temperature step for offset and span errors in the calibration. This produces an output that is far more accurate than even the best compensated gauges. This also allows all parts to have a generic calibration, which means that there is no need to enter a specific part calibration when changing loadcells. Each part is individually calibrated in a computer controlled oven over a full load and temperature range and each part retains its own unique calibration table.
BERU f1systems are happy to discuss any questions that you may have for this new push Rod loadcell design or any other strain gauging or force measurement requirements.
